I was in my 20’s when Hillary started to fight for healthcare as First Lady. I was inspired by her then, and continue to be inspired… as she has represented all parts of our country in many different capacities over her career. She understands how to collaborate with partners at home and abroad. THIS is what I want for my president.

I am a pragmatist and I am voting for a pragmatist. As a single mom, an anti-gun advocate, and a woman who supports a woman’s right to choose, she’s my candidate. No one running can touch Hillary’s record for supporting women and working mothers.

I was 15 in 1992, and I had never seen a woman in politics like Hillary before (or since, frankly). I love her for her bravery, her intelligence, her thoughtfulness, her commitment to women’s rights, and most of all because my little son will grow up never knowing anything other than a woman POTUS. Hillary IS the revolution – we did it, ladies!

I love that Hillary always moves the ball forward. Even if she can’t get health insurance for all, she gets health insurance for poor kids. Even if she can’t prevent a bad bankruptcy bill from going forward, she prevents it from harming single mothers. Even if she can’t get lifetime healthcare for First Responders, she gets 10 years of coverage, with an option to extend it. She’s always working to move us forward, and she does so with intelligence and pragmatism. I love that.

Hillary Clinton is highly qualified, a longtime fighter for women’s rights, a strong supporter for gun control, driven, and someone who I believe has a sophisticated understanding of policy. And having a woman in the White House is also a huge bonus and something my daughters are very excited to see.

Hillary has a wide range of experience, a desire to do good for people, in addition to the knowledge and understanding of what it takes to make change. I trust her with the Supreme Court and as Commander In Chief. She’s the only candidate who will protect President Obama’s legacy.

I am voting for Hillary because I want a president who represents me and the issues I care most about. I’m voting for Hillary because I want a president who understands nuance, research, politics, and collaboration. I’m also voting for Hillary because I want a president who is a smart, capable, caring, and powerful woman.

In my lifetime, there has never been a candidate with the range of experience, scope of knowledge, and ability to continue learning that Secretary Clinton has displayed in her career and in this campaign. Also, she has the best laugh.

She listens. She studies. She dives deep. And for her whole life she has applied that passion and empathy and understanding to helping people better their lives. She unpacks multilayered, nuanced answers to any issue to show that she knows her subject and cares deeply about it. She keeps her poise in the face of unrelenting criticism. She is a fighter who can not be beat.

She’s smart, empathetic, thoughtful, careful, kind, and experienced She will fight for global rights for women – make it a priority – and will serve as a great example to many women all over the world, young and old. And she’s fun and has a great sense of humor!

Hillary’s 2011 “Gay rights are human rights” speech in Geneva shows what she can do. With the constant attacks on gay rights and the anti-gay bills in places like NC and Mississippi, we need a fighter that “gets it.” She is the only candidate who is a proven fighter and can get results.

One reason I admire Hillary is for her refusal to give in to pride and disappointment. She has been relentlessly attacked for 25 years, but she keeps working and growing. HRC’s priority is working for justice and supporting those who need it the most. She has kept that consistent through it all.

Over the past forty years, Hillary has consistently shown her strength and commitment not only as a leader but as a woman who values empowering others to better themselves and their communities.

I’ve been watching her all my adult life. She never gives up, always keeps an open mind, and never forgets why she does what she does – to change and improve our country.

She has the most impressive record of any recent nominee. She also has an extensive history of working to help the most vulnerable in society. Examples include her work to expose segregation in Alabama and work at the Children’s Defense Fund. Most of all, she listens and cares as demonstrated by her outreach to gun violence victims.

I am passionate about putting our country in the hands of Hillary Clinton. She’s a brilliant caring woman in whom I can entrust the health, rights, security, and welfare of my daughters and granddaughters, my neighbors, friends, family, and my fellow Americans.

She takes responsibility for her mistakes and learns from them. She focuses on building relationships to get things done. She’s a grandma.

I love the dignity and class with which HRC handles the hard questions, the insults, her mistakes and the issues.

There has never been a President in my lifetime (which spans 60 years) as qualified and experienced as Hillary Clinton – male or female. The fact that I would finally see a woman Chief Executive is just icing on the cake.

Hillary. Because she has the tenacity, grace, and sense of balance to do the incredibly hard work of compromising to accomplish progressive legislation.

Because she is a policy wonk. She does the hard step by step day to day work of research, critical thinking, compromise to get things done. She has nearly unanimous support among her congressional colleagues in both houses, and more proven bipartisan support than any other. too.

She is exciting. She has proven that she can stand up to the worst the political process can throw at her. Ultimately, I vote for smart people who get things done.

I cannot think of another person who has undergone so much scrutiny and so many attacks and yet still gets up every single day and goes to work at making the world a better place, especially for our children. She is smart and funny and pragmatic and strong and I am inspired by her each and every day.

Hillary is courageous, compassionate, and has great heart and a brilliant mind. Able to bring opposing forces together in the spirit of unity and compromise, she is a true leader – a visionary, radiating spirit and empathy, who gives of herself, as we all should.

I want a President who knows how to actually implement change that will work, even in a divided country, even in a divided government. Governing effectively means being willing to listen, learn, compromise, and articulate a plan. Hillary is ready to do it on day one!
